Bold Elegance in Light: Signage for Audi Singapore’s House of Progress
In the ever-evolving world of luxury automotive design, every detail counts — not just in the cars themselves but in the environments that showcase them. We recently had the privilege of contributing to Audi Singapore’s new House of Progress showroom, a flagship space that reflects the brand’s progressive vision. Our task was to fabricate and install two prominent exterior front-lit signs and one attractive interior back-lit signage — all engineered to match the premium standards synonymous with Audi.
Let us look into a small part of the fabrication process.
Inside the House of Progress, we created a back-lit interior sign that now acts as a focal point within the showroom’s reception space. The first thing that greets clients, partners and also the staff everyday upon walking in the main door is this front bold Audi logo in black with attractive white back lighting — a quiet expression of Audi’s design language, illuminated from within to give a sense of depth and precision.
Mounted against a textured wall, the sign appears to float, its soft halo lighting reinforcing Audi’s forward-thinking aesthetic. The backlighting is carefully diffused to create a clean, uniform glow, reflecting the kind of engineering finesse that Audi celebrates in its vehicles. It’s not just a logo — it’s a spatial experience.
The first impression always begins outside. For the facade of the showroom, we produced and installed two sleek front lit exterior signs that carry the unmistakable Audi identity. Precision-crafted from high-quality materials, each sign was designed to integrate seamlessly into the clean architectural lines of the building.
Whether viewed from afar or up close, these signs are more than just visual markers — they’re part of a holistic experience. They help tell the story of a brand that looks to the future while staying grounded in design excellence.
These signs don’t just announce Audi’s presence; they do so with purpose. The front illumination, using energy-efficient LED modules, ensures high visibility both day and night, while preserving a sense of understated luxury. The lighting was carefully calibrated to emit an even, diffused glow — no harsh glares, no hotspots — so that the signage remains elegant and legible in all lighting conditions.
